We would love for you to join us!
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 35
Prospective Members:
Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.
As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 10,904 clubs in about 184 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.
All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
Benefits:
Aside from helping others in the area and making new friends, Rotaract offers many opportunities for networking and professional growth through our liaison with our sponsoring Rotary club, the Rotary Club of Washington D.C.
Dues paying members will have access to Rotary lunches featuring guest speakers. Lunches are held each week at the prestigious University Club of Washington D.C. In addition, members are invited to Rotary sponsored happy hours; another great way to network with Rotarians and learn more about Rotary International. Membership also offers access to an international network of Rotaractors when traveling and opens the door to opportunities for local and international travel. Rotary International conferences are hosted in various locations such as New Orleans, Bangkok and Lisbon.
How do I join?
To become a member of the Rotaract Club of Washington D.C., prospective members are asked to attend at least one event, complete a membership application and pay annual dues. Please email membership@rotaractdc.org if you would like an application.
