Rotaract is a service organization for students and professionals in their 20s and 30s dedicated to service projects that benefit the local and international community. Rotaract also serves as a platform for professional development through a series of guest speakers and networking events.
For those of you new to the area or simply looking to expand your social network, we have many social activities from happy hours, trivia, sporting events and many more. Check out our calendar and stop by our next event!
Benefits:
Aside from helping others in the area and making new friends, Rotaract offers many opportunities for networking and professional growth through our liaison with our sponsoring Rotary club, the Rotary Club of Washington D.C.
Dues paying members will have access to Rotary lunches featuring guest speakers. Lunches are held each week at the prestigious University Club of Washington D.C. In addition, members are invited to Rotary sponsored happy hours; another great way to network with Rotarians and learn more about Rotary International. Membership also offers access to an international network of Rotaractors when traveling and opens the door to opportunities for local and international travel. Rotary International conferences are hosted in various locations such as New Orleans, Bangkok and Lisbon.
How do I join?
To become a member of the Rotaract Club of Washington D.C., prospective members are asked to attend at least one event, complete a membership application and pay annual dues. Please email membership@rotaractdc.org if you would like an application.
